Anyone with useful knowledge, experience, educational content, or creative work may be a potential contributor. This can include aspiring authors, educators, professionals, speakers, instructors, entrepreneurs, and organizations.

Not necessarily. The Digital Club welcomes people with valuable knowledge or real-life experience, even if they have not previously published a book or taught a formal class.
19. How do I apply to work with the Digital Club?
You can complete the Contributor Questionnaire or use the Contact Us form on the Digital Club website to tell us about yourself and what you would like to contribute or collaborate on.
20. What happens after I submit the contributor questionnaire?
The questionnaire gives us an initial understanding of your background and interests. If there is a potential fit, we may contact you to discuss your idea, project, or possible role in more detail.
21. Can I propose my own book, workshop, class, or collaboration?
Yes. Contributors are welcome to propose a publication, talk, workshop, class, educational resource, or other project that fits the Digital Club.
4. Contracts & Working Together
22. Will I have a contract if I work with the Digital Club?
Yes, when a collaboration involves specific rights, responsibilities, revenue sharing, or payments, an applicable agreement will be used.
The Digital Club currently provides a Content Provider Revenue Sharing Agreement, which can be viewed or downloaded for free on the platform by searching for the keyword contract and using Access Code 123. The agreement contains detailed terms regarding content ownership, revenue sharing, payments, and other responsibilities.
For talks, workshops, and similar collaborations, the Digital Club also has a Speaker Revenue Sharing Agreement with specific terms for those arrangements. This can be viewed or downloaded for free on the platform by searching for the keyword contract and using Access Code 246.
For other projects, the parties may discuss the specific terms and, when necessary, create a supplemental agreement for that particular collaboration.
23. What does the Digital Club contract cover?
An agreement may explain the responsibilities of both sides, content ownership, rights to use the content, revenue sharing, payment methods, and other important conditions. The specific terms depend on the type of collaboration.
24. Can I review the agreement before I agree to work with the Digital Club?
Yes. The applicable agreement can be reviewed before signing. The Digital Club's published agreements are designed to make the expectations, responsibilities, ownership rights, revenue sharing, and payment terms clear.
25. Is there a different agreement for authors, speakers, instructors, and workshop hosts?
The agreement may be different depending on the type of collaboration. For example, publishing content and hosting a Digital Club event involve different responsibilities and may therefore require different revenue-sharing terms.
26. Can I work with the Digital Club on a long-term basis?
Yes. The Digital Club is open to ongoing collaborations when there is a good fit. Long-term arrangements can be discussed based on the contributor's role, content, and goals.
5. Revenue, Earnings & Payments
27. How much can I earn from publishing or selling content on the Digital Club?
There is no fixed amount because earnings depend on the price of your content and the number of completed purchases or registrations. The Digital Club does not guarantee a specific level of sales or income.
28. How much can I earn from a Digital Club talk, workshop, or class?
There is no standard amount that every talk or class generates. Revenue depends on factors such as the registration price, number of participants, sales, and the type of arrangement. The applicable revenue-sharing agreement explains how the revenue is divided.
29. How is revenue shared between the content provider and the Digital Club?
Revenue sharing depends on the type of content or collaboration.
For an independent content provider who uses the Digital Club platform to offer their own paid digital content, workshop, or class, the content provider generally receives 80% of the applicable sale or registration revenue. The remaining 20% covers third-party payment processing fees and the Digital Club's service fee.
For a collaboration where the Digital Club is more directly involved in organizing and promoting a talk, workshop, or similar program, a different revenue-sharing arrangement may apply.
30. Does the Digital Club charge an upfront publishing or participation fee?
No. The Digital Club does not charge an upfront publishing or participation fee for the standard content-provider arrangement. Any separate fee that may apply to a specific program or service will be clearly communicated before the contributor agrees to it.
31. Are earnings based on purchases or downloads?
Revenue is tracked based on completed customer purchases or registrations, rather than simply the number of times a file is downloaded.
32. When do Digital Club contributors receive their payments?
Payment timing depends on the applicable agreement.
For example, for a workshop organized by Digital Club, the payment to the instructor is made within five business days after the event.
For other types of content, such as digital publications, the payment schedule and conditions are set out in the applicable revenue-sharing agreement.
33. Is there a minimum payment threshold?
Yes. For example, under the applicable content-provider payment arrangement, there is a $5 minimum earnings threshold for payment. Once the applicable payment conditions are met and the contributor's earnings reach the required threshold, the contributor can receive the payment according to the payment schedule in the agreement.
34. How can I track my sales and earnings?
Sales tracking is designed to be transparent. Contributors can log into their own account and view their sales information, including how many completed sales or registrations they have generated.
6. Events, Talks, Workshops & Classes
35. Can I give a talk, teach a class, or host a workshop through the Digital Club?
Yes. Individuals and organizations can offer their own workshops, classes, talks, and other educational programs through the Digital Club.
For example, an independent content provider can use the platform to host a workshop or event, set a registration fee, and receive 80% of the applicable registration revenue, while the remaining 20% covers third-party payment processing fees and the Digital Club's service fee.
36. How can I become a Digital Club speaker or instructor?
You can express your interest by completing the Contributor Questionnaire and using the Contact Us form on the Digital Club website. You can tell us about your background, proposed topic, and the type of program you would like to offer.
37. Does the Digital Club have a fixed schedule for talks, workshops, and classes?
Not necessarily. Some programs may have a planned schedule, while other events can be arranged based on the speaker or instructor, audience availability, and program needs.
38. Can speakers and instructors choose their own dates and times?
Scheduling is generally discussed with the speaker or instructor rather than being automatically assigned. The final date and time depend on mutual availability and the needs of the program.
39. How much flexibility do I have in setting my teaching schedule?
The goal is to provide reasonable flexibility while also considering audience availability and the overall Digital Club calendar. Your preferred schedule can be discussed when planning the program.
40. How long are Digital Club talks, workshops, and classes?
The length depends on the program. For example, a workshop or class could be structured as a 45-minute session followed by a Q&A. The exact format and length can be discussed with the host or instructor.
41. Who handles event registration, payments, and promotion?
The arrangement depends on whether the program is independently hosted or is a collaboration with the Digital Club.
For an independent content provider, the host can handle their own promotion, while the Digital Club handles registration and payment processing. The content provider receives 80% of the applicable registration revenue.
For a Digital Club collaboration, the Digital Club may participate more directly in organizing and promoting the program. Under the applicable collaboration agreement, the speaker or host may receive 55% of eligible revenue, while the Digital Club receives the remaining share after applicable deductions.
In both arrangements, the Digital Club handles registration and payments and provides the workshop or class host with the registration and sales information for their program.
42. Can I propose my own topic for a Digital Club talk or workshop?
Yes. Contributors are encouraged to propose topics based on their knowledge, experience, and areas of expertise. The Digital Club can discuss the topic, format, audience, schedule, and type of collaboration with you.
43. Who owns the teaching materials or presentation I create?
You generally retain ownership of your original teaching materials and presentation content. The specific ownership and usage rights are clearly addressed in the agreement signed for the collaboration.

47. How do I access content I have purchased?
After completing a purchase, you can access your purchased content through your Digital Club account.

49. Can schools, businesses, and organizations use the Digital Club to privately share digital resources?
Yes. Organizations can use the Digital Club to share selected digital resources privately with their students, employees, members, clients, or other intended audiences.
